Overview

Validating data from Health IT systems is the cornerstone of effective Health IT Enabled QI. Ensuring that Health IT-generated reports and data reflect an accurate picture of the care and outcomes of your population ensures that data is actionable for quality improvement, monitoring as well as many other purposes. This validation must be ongoing as system , provider, workflow, and other changes, can all impact accuracy of data. This section provides worksheets, guides, and tips for validating data.

Expanding HIV Prevention Efforts and Treatment through Telehealth

HRSA Telehealth Learning Series

This webinar discussed issues rural Americans face in accessing HIV care and the opportunities that telemedicine provides to extend services in a way that addresses barriers to care that are unique to this population. It also presented opportunities to leverage existing infrastructures to support the extension of services and how to assess the costs and benefits of utilizing telehealth in place of traditional service delivery models.
