Community health centers can use the Excel-based Health IT Financial Forecasting Tool to plan, implement, and maintain health IT systems. This tool assists in documenting costs, funding, and potential revenue for new systems, upgrades, or understanding current cost structures, especially for safety net populations.

Capital Link is a national, non-profit organization that has worked with hundreds of health centers and Primary Care Associations over the past 18 years to plan capital projects, finance growth and identify ways to improve performance. Established through the community health center movement, Capital Link is dedicated to strengthening and expanding high-quality, community based healthcare in a rapidly changing marketplace.

In our second Reflect & Connect Session we were joined by HITEQ host, Jada Large, Tony Skapinksy from CapitalLink, and Mikkel Finsen from Open Door Family Medical Center as they discussed a tool health centers can use to forecast technology costs. This tool was developed in partnership with CapitalLink and the HITEQ Center.
