The Health IT Emergency Response Plan Assessment Tool helps health centers evaluate and enhance their emergency plans, focusing on optimizing Health IT use during crises. It guides centers in assessing critical areas like preserving and leveraging EHR data, secure data sharing with emergency responders and other providers, communication planning, risk assessment, and implementing situational workflows, allowing them to tailor actions to their specific needs.

This assessment tool can be used in tandem with the Health Center Emergency Response Exercise Set and the Health Center Health IT Emergency Response Resource List.
