Use Case III: Information Blocking in Action: Practical Steps for Your Health Center

Session Description: Now that the Information Blocking Rule is a part of the healthcare landscape, how do we apply it in our daily work at health centers? This session is designed to bridge the gap between understanding the rule and putting it into action. We will focus on practical, real-world steps your IT teams and providers can take to navigate common scenarios, correctly apply the exceptions, and leverage the rule to improve data exchange and patient care. This session is part of a larger Skill Builder Series, "Ready for Anything: Cyber Preparedness for Health Centers," that can lead you to earning a digital badge.

Series Description:
This learning pathway is a structured series designed to equip health center staff with the knowledge and skills needed to protect their organization from cyber threats. Moving beyond basic security measures, this progression covers the full spectrum of cyber preparedness—from identifying vulnerabilities and understanding common attack vectors to developing incident response plans. Participants will engage in practical use cases and interactive sessions to build a robust defense strategy, ensuring their health center is resilient, prepared, and ready for anything in today's digital landscape.
