QWhere can I find a NextGen User Group?
ANextGen maintains what it calls its Success Community where customers can gain access to support cases, knowledge resources and documentation. There is a NextGen user group maintained by NACHC as well that provides support for health centers.
QWhat is the current version of NextGen?
ANextGen Ambulatory EHR version 5.8.2 is 2014 Edition compliant and has been certified by ICSA Labs in accordance with applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
QWhat standard terminologies are currently supported?
ANextGen currently supports ICD-9, CPT-4, NDC, SNOMED-CT, and NCPDP.
QWhere do I find MU support for NextGen?
AThe NextGen website has a health reform section that includes information on Meaningful Use, PCMH, ACO, and MACRA. The website also includes guidance for Community Health Center reporting requirements (e.g., UDS)
