The EP is in active engagement with a public health agency to submit electronic public health data from CEHRT except where prohibited and in accordance with applicable law and practice.

Dentists are required to meet the same objectives and measures for Meaningful Use as all other eligible professionals (EP). However, there are exclusions available for several of the objectives and measures for which dentists are commonly, though not universally, eligible. This resource shares the experiences from the Wisconsin Primary Health Care Association.

The following document is intended to assist health center staff create new job descriptions and/or modify existing job descriptions to more clearly incorporate Health IT and quality-related responsibilities.  The matrix provides responsibilities across three categories of roles:  Medical Leadership, Quality, and Health IT.  It differentiates these responsibilities based on typical job functions (e.g., Quality Improvement, Compliance, Meaningful Use).   

This calendar is a sample tool to be used internally to promote data reporting consistency and clarity on data/ quality improvement specialist deliverable expectations. The times in parentheses not only allow for scheduling issues, but can help identify opportunities for improvement in reporting efficiency. This was shared by an FQHC, so some aspects may already work for you, but you are encouraged to edit or make your own version for use in your health center.
