A safe EHR implementation is critically dependent on the people involved. This guide, compared to all of the others, focuses chiefly on human behavior and relationships, and it is organized differently than the other guides—in particular, it is not organized under the same Phases and Principles used for the other guides but is instead organized around principles that apply to the people who have responsibility for patient safety in EHR-enabled healthcare organizations.
