Session 1: Governance, Roles, and Responsibilities in Managing eCW, Azara, and Other Tools

This discussion series offers a focused, collaborative space for three one-hour virtual sessions spread over a few weeks. The series will delve into the practicalities of managing and leveraging health IT tools, specifically eClinicalWorks (eCW) and Azara, to enhance clinical care and the ability to monitor outcomes across the patient population. Participants will have the opportunity to share best practices, troubleshoot common challenges, and uncover actionable strategies for optimizing these essential systems. The group will foster a peer-to-peer learning environment, encouraging open discussion and knowledge exchange among providers, care teams, and quality professionals.

This session laid the groundwork by exploring the foundational aspects of health IT management within an organization. It addressed who is responsible for different facets of the systems and how changes and communications are handled.
