Surescripts is leading an industry wide effort to improve the quality and increase the value of ePrescribing. We will discuss the importance of analyzing every prescription for quality and completeness to ensure safety and quality of the ePrescribing process.

Using Interoperability to advance innovation. Interoperability remains one of the biggest challenges facing care givers, health care organizations and person-centered care today. This session will review how health systems have come together to solve data liquidity from a technical architecture approach.

At the conclusion of this activity, the learner will be able to discuss how improvements in interoperability will impact the approach to person-centered care.

Starting in August, a process called attestation will begin, during which Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) and FQHC look-alikes will verify that they have submitted all reportable clinical privileges actions to the National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB). They will be asked to do this as part of their organization’s registration renewal.

The U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Office for Civil Rights (OCR) has developed a Cyber Security Checklist and a corresponding Cyber Security Infographic that explains the steps for a HIPAA covered entity or its business associate (the entity) to take in response to a cyber-related security incident. 

Demonstrating the value of health centers is a necessary element of sustainability and measuring benefit. How value is assessed can range from illustrating cost effectiveness and evaluating performance measures to ensuring access to reliable, high-quality, and equitable care.

The purpose of this webinar is to provide a clear, digestible demonstration of the value that Health Care for the Homeless grantees provide and the impact of the HCH integrated care framework on health care. We will provide clear examples of the uniqueness of populations experiencing homelessness and the invaluable work that HCH grantees and those providing direct services give to our communities.
